Service Terms – Downsizing Lady™
Downsizing Lady™ provides private, simple hands‑on downsizing, sorting, organizing, and packing tasks for standard residential homes. All work is performed in the client’s home as a licensed independent contractor.
What I Do
I help clients with calm, hands-on moving logistics, including sorting belongings, organizing rooms and storage areas, and packing for moves. I offer full packing for entire homes or partial packing for specific rooms or items. I also prepare belongings for donation or disposal, with clients handling the final removal. My focus is on making each space clear, organized, and ready for the next step.

3‑Hour Minimum Booking Policy
I schedule a minimum of 3 hours per workday. This ensures every visit has enough time for calm sorting, organizing, and packing without rushing.
What I Don’t Do
To maintain safety and quality, I do not provide:
hoarding cleanouts
deep cleaning or trash removal
hazardous material handling
heavy lifting or furniture moving
pest‑infested or unsafe environments
Client Participation
Clients must be present and available to make decisions during sessions.
Rates
Rates are provided on Pricing page.
Payment is due at the end of each session.
Cancellations
24‑hour notice is appreciated. Same‑day cancellations may incur a one‑hour fee.
Safety
For safety, clients or movers handle all heavy items. Work areas must be safe and accessible.
Photos
Photos are taken only with client permission.
Freebie Item Removal - What I Can Take
I can take small and medium items you no longer want. I have my own process for handling items, so you don’t have to worry about a thing once it leaves your home.
What I Don’t Take
I do not take trash, hazardous items, chemicals, or anything heavy. These items will be placed in your trash, recycling, or donation pile instead.
Appointments – Cancellations
Appointments are confirmed once scheduled. Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments or same‑day cancellations may require prepayment for future bookings.
